Weighted Median Algorithm Applied to Steganography in RGB Images

In this paper, we present a novel method for hidden information in the wavelet domain. The proposed method uses the wavelet domain iterative center weighted median algorithm to estimate the noise areas of an RGB image. We propose to use the noise pixels as places to hidden information to provide good invisibility and fine detail preservation of processed images. The proposed method consistently identifies if the wavelets coefficients of an image contains noise pixels or not, this algorithm works with variances and standard deviations of the same wavelet coefficients of image. The experimental results from a known technique are compared with the proposed method to demonstrate its performance in terms of objective and subjective sense.

The viscosity coecient of bulk viscous uid is assumed to be a power function of mass density. The eect of bulk viscous uid distribution in the universe is compared with perfect uid model. The cosmological constant is found to be a positive decreasing function of time which is corroborated by results from recent observations. The physical and geometric aspects of the models are discussed.

The design methodology is verified with phase shifters based on Silicon (Si) and Gallium Arsenide (GaAs) p-i-n diodes with different geometry. The responses of circuit design of 45° phase shift are analyzed. The circuits designed with bulk p-i-n diodes I-layer thickness of 50 microns reaches a variation of 4.8 degrees in phase shift responses in a bandwidth of 1GHz, at the center frequency of 10GHz. The reflection coefficient responses are less than 0.1 for the forward and reverse biased p-i-n diode.

An analytical solution for the problem under consideration has been obtained using the Laplace Transform Method 7. The effects of the concentration parameter Sc (Schmidt number), the magnetic parameter M, the viscosity-heat conduction parameter Pr (Prandtl number) together with variation of time, have been examined on the flow of fluid velocity, temperature and concentration. The analytical results have shown that the above mentioned effects have to be taken into consideration in the flow of fluid, heat and mass transfer processes.

The purpose of this paper is to study the strong convergence of a hybrid iterative scheme for finding a common element of the set of a general system of variational inequalities for α-inverse- strongly monotone mapping and relaxed (c,d)- cocoercive mapping, the set of solutions of a mixed equilibrium problem and the set of common fixed points of a finite family of nonexpansive mappings in a real Hilbert space. Using the demi-closedness principle for nonexpansive mapping, we prove that the iterative sequence converges strongly to a common element of these three sets under some control conditions. Our results extend recent results announced by many others.

Power-system stability improvement by a static synchronous series compensator (SSSC)-based controller is studied in this paper. Conventionally, the lead-lag structure was used to modulate the injected voltage. But, in this paper, PID controller is also considered. The design problem of the proposed controller is formulated as an optimization problem and Differential Evolution Algorithm is used to find out the optimal controller parameters. Different disturbances are applied to the single-machine infinite bus system. Only remote signals with required time delays are taken into account in this paper. The simulation results are presented and the two structures are compared under various loading conditions and disturbances to find out the better structure.

An Improvement to the Secant Method

This study presents an improvement to the secant method by reconstruction,in numerical analysis,the secant method is a root finding algorithm that uses a succession of roots of secant lines to better approximate a root of function F.secant method which its convergence is superlinear is used in combination with bissection and inverse quadratic interpolation in Bren't and Zhang' method wich are one of the most powerful root finding algorithms.the new method presented in this study presents so much advantages in root finding algorithms for non-linear equations,compared to the secant method,this new method uses secant lines from 2 circles in each iteration,it the requires only one initial guess and its convergence is quadratic,this new method could replace the secant method in Brent's and Zhang's method to make the algorithm more quick and more efficient,some experimental tests presented in this study compares the performances of this new method to the secant method.
